Description

The Library Management System (LMS) is a comprehensive platform designed to streamline the management of library resources. It consists of three main components: Admin Panel, Member Panel, and Frontend Site. Users can browse library assets and apply for membership through the frontend. Admins can manage member applications, library resources, and system settings efficiently.

  • Add, edit, delete, and search member types (e.g., teacher, student).
  • Manage member accounts, including approval, rejection, and password reset.

• Circulation Management

  • Configure issue and return settings (issue time limits, book limits, fines).
  • Issue and return books with real-time status tracking.
  • Notify members of overdue books via notifications, email, or SMS.

• Notification System

  • Send notifications for overdue books via internal messaging, email, or SMS.
  • Configure SMS gateways (e.g., Twilio, Nexmo) and SMTP settings for email.

• Reporting

  • Generate reports on member fines and penalties.
  • Notification reports for SMS and email sent to members.

• Daily Read Books

  • Track popular books and their read counts.

• Requested Books

  • Members can request books not available in the library.
  • Admins can accept or reject book requests.

Installation Steps

1. Download and Upload: Download the .zip package, upload it to your server, and extract it.
2. Run Installation: Open the uploaded URL in your browser (http://yourdomain.com/lms/).
3. Database Setup: Provide database settings (hostname, database name, username, password).
4. Admin Setup: Enter the LMS Admin Panel login email and password.
5. Institute Info: Enter institute name, address, and contact details.
6. Install LMS: Click “Install LMS Now” to complete the installation.
7. Login and Customize: Log in with your admin credentials to start using and customizing LMS.
